Just a little bit about us
Luxury Bakery has been established for over 40 years. Bought in 1970 by Alan and Jean Miles, it has become Coventry’s premier craft bakery. After the retirement of Alan and Jean in 1990, their son Paul and his wife Tracey took over the running of the business.
Acquiring our Bell Green shop shortly afterwards, Tracey and Paul have established an enviable reputation throughout the local community for creating quality traditional goods. And we have continued with the same philosophy of producing top quality products made from the finest ingredients available.
We used locally sourced products whenever possible, with English wheat in our bread and rolls, which are now produced to the 2012 salt levels. We offer an exciting range of speciality breads at the weekends if you are looking for something a little different from the norm.
All our mouth watering products are made by City & Guilds Bakers, who use over a 100 years of experience between them to create Coventry’s finest food. We are always looking for new and innovative products, recently introducing a range of hand made patsies and pies, which, thanks to our original recipes, have been a revelation with our customers.
Remember, we only use wholesome ingredients, with no preservatives or flavours for our pies and pasties. To achieve our delicious flavours, we cook our fillings for at least 3 hours, giving them their unique tastes!
